Frequently Asked Questions
All of our office trailers are equipped with security screens and lock bars.
Office trailers with bathrooms have a water supply and sewer line stubbed out through the bottom of the unit. We provide stub out only, no “T’s” or harnesses. The water supply is ¾” and the sewer line is 3”.
- Removal of signs and notices attached to the interior or exterior.
- Avoid using tape because it will damage paneling, resulting in damage charges
- Holes in floor, interior/exterior walls.
- Damaged floor tile replacement.
- Replacement keys because keys are not returned.
- Replacement of damaged woodwork, trim and siding.
- Replacement of severely damaged exterior doors.
- Repair of HVAC filter because filter is not replaced monthly.
Tri-Boro will obtain any necessary hauling permits. All fees and any other permits are the customer’s responsibility.
Please call our office at 1-800-427-4089 before making any modifications to avoid damage charges. All modifications must be approved by Tri-Boro management.
The unit is not covered by insurance. You are responsible for losses from the time the unit is delivered to you until it is returned to us. The insurance coverage is as follows; All Risk Physical Damage – full value of unit. Comprehensive General Liability and Property Damage with Minimum limits of $300,000 each occurrence or $500,000 aggregate, or single limit coverage of 1,000,000. Your insurance carrier must send us a Certificate of Insurance indicating that Tri-Boro Trailer is an Additional Named Insured.
We recommend providing a week notice for any pick-ups to ensure the trailer is picked up on time. The trailer must be empty, unhooked from all utilities, and accessible, otherwise it may result in a false trip charge.
Tri-Boro offers next day delivery on all available equipment. It is recommended that customers give a week notice for standard deliveries.
We recommend that all office trailer rentals include steps, block & level, and tie down service. In addition to these standard options we offer skirting for long term rentals and sales trailers, as well as tables and chairs for lunch rooms, training rooms, and change trailers.
Yes. All trailers have either air conditioners and baseboard heat, or an HVAC system.
We recommend that customers refrain from moving office trailers on site with their own equipment because they are responsible for all damages that could occur.
Yes, we offer both freshwater and waste water systems, as well as pumping services.
No. Rental units cannot be hauled using customer equipment due to insurance requirements and liability.
It is Tri-Boro Trailer’s policy that we use only our own trucks and employees to deliver and place our trailers.
Obtain any necessary permits, and provide a level and obstacle free site.
All units have a main power panel that is stubbed out through the bottom of the unit. Each is pre-wired, eliminating the need for any internal wiring. The main breaker in sizes 8’ wide office trailers will require a 60 amp service with a voltage of 220. The main breaker in sizes 10’ & 12’ wide office trailers will require a 100 amp service with a voltage of 220. A certified electrician is required to connect electricity. Customer is responsible for any damages incurred.
Some of our trailers are built with them. If a trailer does not have phone or data receptacles we recommend a certified technician install them to avoid improper install. Please call our office at 1-800-427-4089 before making any modifications to avoid damage charges. All modifications must be approved by Tri-Boro management.
All trailers are cleaned and inspected by a qualified Tri-Boro employee before delivery. The customer is responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance in order to return it in the same condition it was delivered.
Tri-Boro is able to service A/C’s for an additional service fee.
All A/C units are inspected, cleaned and all filters replaced prior to delivery. The customer is responsible to change all filters monthly to prevent problems with the A/C operation.
